Absolute Music 5

Absolute Music 5 is a compilation album released on October 6, 1988, in Sweden.

It is part of the popular "Absolute Music" series and was issued as a double-LP (vinyl), CD, and cassette.

The album compiles the biggest hits of the time and features a total of 24 tracks on the vinyl edition.

The cover features images of several of the contributing artists, including Roxette, Patti Smith, and Richard Marx.

Some of the most well-known tracks on the album are: Roxette – "Dressed For Success" Richard Marx – "Hold On To The Nights" Freda' – "Det Måste Gå" Tommy Nilsson – "Miss My Love" Sanne Salomonsen / Anne Linnet – "Den Jeg Elsker, Elsker Jeg" Milli Vanilli – "Girl You Know It's True" (often included in this series during that period) Ofra Haza – "Im Nin'alu".

Record label: EVA Records (a collaboration between EMI, Virgin, and Electra).

Format: Double-LP (as seen in the picture), which was standard to accommodate all the hits at this time.
