Bye-bye, Dummy! said the Crocodile Cub by Maria Rørbæk

Goodbye Pacifier, Said the Little Crocodile is a colorful and charming children's book that helps toddlers transition from pacifier to new experiences. The story follows Karl, the little crocodile, who loves his pacifier but discovers that it prevents him from nibbling, eating, and speaking up when the monkeys tease him. With playful text and clear illustrations, the book becomes a reassuring support for children who are ready to give up their pacifier.

The book was part of the Swedish Reading Movement's initiative in 2019 and is designed to stimulate a love of reading in young children.
