Sven-Ingvars – Man borde inte sova (Philips)

Man borde inte sova is an atmospheric and traditionally-influenced album by Sven-Ingvars, in which the band interprets classic Swedish poets and troubadours. The record features several set texts by Gustaf Fröding, as well as works by Evert Taube and Verner von Heidenstam. Musically, the album moves between folk song, folk tones, and subdued arrangements that highlight the narrative and emotion of the lyrics.

It is an album that shows Sven-Ingvars from their more traditional and poetic side, with a focus on Swedish cultural heritage, poetry, and timeless melodies.
